Really. Snow before Halloween. It was a doozy of a
storm too. Tree's down, power out, wind howling.
The leaves have just begun to change colors, the
hydrangeas still have that dusty pink late fall hue. I
haven't even taken my sweaters out of hibernation...
It's warmer today though so it will all be gone by
Tuesday. I hope it doesn't come back until the real
winter.

I'm sorry to hear that you lost power... I hope it wasn't too bad. We were in a similar situation here. I can't believe the kids are out trick-or-treating in the snow!
