IF-Imagination

I've been working on illustrating a children's book with a great lady,
who's funny, smart, energetic and so sensitive.
She wrote a great story about a little girl who is figuring out who she
really is. It's been a long and intense process but fun and we are
almost finished. I'm looking forward to finally getting it all together.
This is page 4.

Adorable! There is something very fun about a small person in a giant chair! Lovely thoughts of dogs and cats and cakes and castles. And presents!

I've been trying to figure out the sentence, "I know I'm not my mind or my thoughts that make a wish." To me, it's a little confusing, though reading what comes before and after might make a difference. :)

Thanks so much! I know the words are out of context here.. It makes sense when the whole story whole story flows.
