Class!

I've just worked my way through week 1 (Bolt Fabric) of Lilla Rogers
new online class "Make Art That Sells" It is so inspiring and the process
we go through to get to final piece is so fantastic and thrilling. I've pushed
myself a lot this week and I see how to apply it in the future. My
classmates are an incredibly talented motivated group of people and
the energy is infectious. It makes me just want to draw and paint
and create things.

Here are some of the mushroom sketches I started out with.

That sounds like a great class and I am so impressed with the results. When I first looked at your art before I read the details I was thinking that the top print would make a really cute dishtowel! Cute!!!

Fabric is totally one of those things I would like to do but haven't found the time for. Sounds like a terrific class and you are enjoying it very much! I should take a class too, lol. So are you drawing in ink then coloring and moving stuff around digitally? Such a great variety of mushrooms! That first one with the mushrooms would be such neat fabric!

There are so many things I want to try if I have time! I did paint them and then play in photoshop,I'm playing with different techniques too.

Oooh, lovely work!! Your mushroom sketches in coloured linework are fantastic! And you're making such beautiful patterns! What a great class - I really look forward to seeing what you come up with over the course of it :)
